Dam construction is a fine art with very few operators with any experience, remaining in Perth. Each dam is unique with its own characteristics. Different clays, varying sand contents, gravel seams and old river beds which are common in the Perth Hills. JBE Earthmoving have constructed many successful dams over the Perth Hills and surrounding Wheatbelt over many years. We are experienced in many types of dams such as gully, soaks, water table, liner and fish farms.
There are many operators that will happily dig you a hole in the ground but have little care if they hold water. A large part of our work on dams is resealing as leakage can occur from poor construction methods and lack of knowledge.
JBE Earthmoving have extensive experience in resealing and have successfully repaired many dams with the the use of bentonite and excavation/ blending and compaction methods. JBE Earthmoving have also created some amazing rock pitched features in and around dams with stunning results.
